I think that by activating the CashBack from Rakuten, this blocked me from checking IN with Avianca for my flight, and thus I had to pay $120 for my baggage charge since I was not able to do it online! I think their system was down or I was "blocked" from checking in because of the cash back.

The booking is excellent, but the service is not that good. The seats are very hard, small, with no leg room, and for a trip of 6 hours, they do not provide even a sip of water. If I could not use them, I would not make a reservation with them. Unfortunately, the Bay area is the only one with a direct flight.
